NL: Amy is na haar ontslag uit het ziekenhuis in Den Haag overgebracht naar het PZC in Dordrecht.  Hier heeft Amy goede en liefdevolle zorg gehad. Samen met Amy heeft men hier hard gewerkt om door te mogen stromen naar het Daan Theeuwes Centrum. Dit doel is nu bereikt.  Amy mag naar het Daan Theeuwes Centrum!  Wij danken PZC hiervoor en zijn blij dat Amy samen met hun dit doel heeft kunnen bereiken.

In het Daan Theeuwes Centrum zal Amy nog harder en gerichter verder gaan werken aan haar herstel. Wij hebben goede hoop dat Amy hier ook mooie resultaten en verbeteringen kan laten zien.

In de voorliggende periode zijn er naast de zorg vanuit het PZC een hoop aanpassingen en mogelijkheden geboden dankzij uw hulp.  De gemeente en overige instanties kunnen binnen de regels pas hulp bieden als iemand is uitbehandeld. Hier is weliswaar begrip voor,  maar het zorgt er ook meteen voor dat wanneer wij Amy in de weekenden thuis willen verzorgen dit vrijwel niet mogelijk is.

Wij zijn dan ook ontzettend geholpen en gebaat bij de benodigde hulp en de benodigde hulpmiddelen die Amy nodig heeft om in de weekenden thuis te mogen zijn.  Denk hierbij aan een speciaal bed, een stoel en bedlift, een wandelrolstoel.  Ook is er  gezorgd voor een rolstoelauto.  Hierdoor kan Amy in de weekenden gehaald en gebracht worden, kan zij thuis slapen en verzorgd worden. Alleen door en met deze hulpmiddelen kan Amy de weekenden echt thuis zijn. Dankzij jullie is er nu ook een douchecabine beneden geplaatst waardoor Amy nu ook in de weekenden kan genieten van een heerlijke douche. Wij proberen hiermee haar oude leven zo normaal mogelijk in te kleden. Amy lacht en is blij als zij weer thuis is. Dit is voor ons,  en zeker ook voor Amy een zeer fijne ervaring.

Tijdens haar revalidatie is er door uw bijdrage tevens de mogelijkheid gekomen om Amy extra hydrotherapy te laten volgen. Hier reageert Amy ontzettend goed op. Deze extra trainingen geven haar voldoening en helpen haar zichtbaar in haar herstel.

EN: After her discharge from the hospital in The Hague, Amy was transferred to the PZC in Dordrecht. At the PZC Amy has had good and loving care. Together with Amy, they have worked hard to be allowed to move on to the Daan Theeuwes Center. This goal has now been achieved. Amy can go to the Daan Theeuwes Center! We thank PZC for this and are happy that Amy was able to achieve this goal together with them.

At the Daan Theeuwes Center, Amy will continue to work even harder and focuse more on her recovery. We are hopeful that Amy can also show great results and improvements here.

In the past period, in addition to the care provided by the PZC, a lot of adjustments and possibilities have been offered thanks to your donations. The municipality and other authorities can only offer help within the rules if someone fully finished all treatments. Although this is understandable, it also immediately ensures that when we want to take care of Amy at home during the weekends, this is almost impossible.

We are therefore greatly helped and benefit from the necessary help and the necessary aids that Amy needs to be able to be home during the weekends. Think of a special bed, a chair and bed lift, a wheelchair. A wheelchair-car van is also provided. This means that Amy can be picked up and brought back in at the weekend, she can sleep at home and be cared for. Due to these tools Amy can really be at home on the weekends. Thanks to your donations, a shower cabin has now also been placed downstairs, so that Amy can now also enjoy a wonderful shower during the weekends. We try to copy her old life as much as possible. Amy smiles and is happy when she is back home. This is a very pleasant experience for us, and certainly also for Amy.

During her rehabilitation, your contribution also made it possible for Amy to follow extra hydrotherapy. Amy responds very well to thi therapy. These extra training sessions give her satisfaction and help her visibly in her recovery.
